6. What if
God is worshiped by people of religion because they want to, for love, not for some forced demand.

What if God does not condemn, but by knowing him, he is there to keep someone from hell, which in the bible is explained as separation from God.

I understand people believe different things, but I know some people that think God is like that, and as you said, it seems those are more the actions of the fallen angels not the love of God.

Then those actions are shown to be what God would be like, from the perspective of the maker of that video, a person who openly says he doesn't know God.

That sounds wrong.

7. The alleged god of the bible, if he existed, would be a motherfucking ASSHOLE.

No one who drowns an entire planet or sends bears to kill children for mocking baldness is deserving of anything less than utter scorn. If he were actually real, I'd tell him to fuck himself.

12. The underlying and all-consuming jealousy.
If jealousy is a bad trait for a human to have, why should it be tolerated in a supposeedly perfect and omnipotent being?

17. Exactly, juno!
I assume that kpete wasn't actually buying into any of that. There is every reason to believe that people (flawed, patriarchical flat-earth believers who never bathed much) created that "angry, jealous, spiteful and partisan man in the sky" concept and associated scriptures to suit their own vested interests of the moment. I cannot apologize for having much more confidence in the Joseph Campbell explanations of why we create Gods which vary from culture to culture, and from millenium to millenium. For my needs, this makes a lot more sense than the vast majority of the scriptures.

19. Funny
The Beloved doesn't look like that--and the Judge is within your own being at the time of parting from this life. But then, that's just my God-concept!
