What is your greatest obstacle to spiritual progress?

Assuming "spiritual progress" has any meaning for you, that is!

1. Loneliness.

But it is made up with the quest for intellectual knowledge.

2. My lack of belief in a spiritual higher power?

I think that's been hampering my spiritual progress...

4. make it easy for yourself...

look at what's around you - did you create any of it?
if your answer is no, do you know what/when/why/who did?
if your answer to that is no, can you just accept that you do not know and it doesn't matter?
relax and try to be honest, reliable, kind, loving etc as best you can.

you could write a book of opinions and use that book to demonize everyone who disagrees with you but what's the point of all that drama.

breathe, live, enjoy life.

7. I'm inquisitive, but I don't need a reason to be a good person.

I'm not quite Zen enough about it all to let it go at "I don't know", but I'm ok with the fact that I probably never will know most things.

In the meanwhile, I try to lead the happiest life I can. So far, so good.

Atheism to me is the ultimate in acceptance.

But really, it is just my laziness.
