A judge's ruling awarding child custody to lesbian foster parents prompted an AA-OOO-GAH red alert from the FFPC to newsletter subscribers last month. It came with this pic:



Lock up the chillun, "arrogant judicial activism" has let glowering Satanic mulletheads loose!

Except, the Orlando Sentinel noticed the pic was wrong.

Oops. The first couple are an image traded on lulz sites like Fark, Ebaumsworld, YTMND, and of course, by our good friends at Free Republic.

FFPC president John Stemberger posted an apology to the couple, though it was one of those graceless rightwing fundie inversions casting himself as the victim. Curiously, it hasn't occurred to him that he owes the first couple an apology too.

out there on the internets, and the first picture is in that list. I'm betting that's where the FFPC found it.
