1. There's an old saying about a blind squirrel that seems to apply here.

Right now, the Nats are 39-72. If they won every single game from here on out, they will end up with exactly 90 wins. That could be good enough for a playoff spot... :bounce:

2. Considering HOW they are winning
It's not a fluke my friend. In 2 of the games they came from 5 down and 6 down. They've been a good hitting team for some time. It's the pitching and bullpen which has been less awful. Gives me hope for next year.

8. FYI, Guzman put on waivers today and claimed by the Sawx
Looks like a deal could be in the works, Guzman for prospects and the Nats don't have to pay his salary. Freeing up money for Mr. Strasburg--I am cautiously optimistic.
