A Giants fan?

Former President George W. Bush winds up to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the start of Game 3 of the Japan Series baseball between the Yomiuri Giants and the Nippon Ham Fighters at Tokyo Dome in Tokyo Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2009.

Notice how he likes the public spotlight in places where he isn't booed?

7. I'm pretty sure he's for the Ham Fighters

:P

actually it's just the "Fighters"; Nippon Ham is the sponsoring company, like Yomiuri (Shimbun newspaper) is for the (Japan) Gisnts.

From what I understand, the (Ham) Fighters making it this far would be like the Washington Natinals squaring off against the Yankees in next year's World (?) Series.

edit: one year we got Yomiuri Giants rebroadcasts on the Japanese station in Honolulu. Alas, they were at noon, so I rarely got to see them.
