The 35-year-old cornerback has reached a deal with the Denver Broncos, according to ESPN.com's Adam Schefter.
Law confirmed the report to Schefter on Friday, and Law is expected to take a physical and join the team.
Patriots fans remember Law's return last season, when joined the Jets just days before a Thursday night matchup with the Pats in Foxborough. Law spent much of the night in man-to-man coverage on Randy Moss, who managed just three catches for 26 yards (one of which was rather memorable).
Law played in seven games last season, recording 19 tackles and two passes defended. He did not record an interception for the first time in his career, which dates back to 1995. He is tied with Raymond Clayborn for the Patriots' franchise lead in interceptions with 36, made from 1995-2004. In his career, he has 52 picks, with his single-season high coming in 2005 with the Jets, when he made 10.
