Poll question: Will Favre Return?
Yeah annual question and one I am tired of, but the Vikings open against my Saints so I have to be interested. However you can bet the Saints will be prepared for Favre and an ankle that will be healthy enough for him to play well.

1. Deanna just renewed her MN fitness club membership
All this indecision is just a ruse that they're playing so that he doesn't have to go to camp. I would be very, very surprised if he didn't come back.

2. But this year, he has a "legitmate" excuse--the ankle surgery
Edited on Sun Aug-08-10 08:45 AM by rocktivity
from which he hasn't completely recovered. Of course, if he'd intended to be ready for the pre-season, don't you think he would have had the surgery PRIOR to the third week in May?

3. Bull
He should be in camp to rehab his ankle. His presence would provide leadership and inspiration for the younger players, even if he wasn't taking part in the drills. He could be throwing to his receivers instead of a bunch of high school kids. I'm sure the coaches would keep him away from contact and put him on a throw count so he doesn't overwork his arm. Brett Favre just thinks he's more important than the team and Childress doesn't have the balls to stand up to him.

Ankle looking good
