A little advice tonight. Movie time. The Hangover or Ghostwriter? Watched the Hot Tub Time Machine, last night. Sucked. Need something good.

My sister loved The Hangover, but she also married a graduate of Bob Jones University....

Watch "Moon" instead....no action at all, but if you liked 2001: A Space Odyssey or Solaris (thinking man's sci-fi) you'll dig it. Sam Rockwell is fantastic in this. One of the best films I've seen in the last few years. Movies like this get me all geeked out, but it's not for everyone. If you want action, look elsewhere. If you want something different that will give you a little thought after it's over, watch Moon. Even the trailer gives me goosebumps.

I went to the SW WA Fair yesterday. We go every year, but it's rather small and only lasts 5 days.

Always ranked as one of the top State Fairs in the US. Runs 11 days with today closing out the show. Giant barns and arenas for the animals and the Grandstand books some top name acts. Happy and I go every year and each year we enjoy it more. Only complaint is $5 12-oz. beers at the Bud Tent.

Though this year we did have Weird Al Yankovic and some band calling itself the Doobie Brothers, despite the fact that only 1 member was from the original group (there ought to be a law)..
