2. And when looking at the total yardage on those penalties

remember that two of Tauscher's penalties resulted in a total of about 6 inches. He sure was scared of Peppers, wasn't he.

3. Not just a lot of penalties, they were COSTLY penalties

They took away 2 interceptions and a touchdown.

the one interception wouldn't have been there without the action that produced the penalty (the helmet-to-helmet hit on Cutler).

Still, the Packers seriously left open every door they could, saying "Come, take whatever you want."

Bears fan in Packerland for the 30+ years. Even with 10 years longer hear than anywhere else and with 2 Packers and no Bears on my FF team, felt no conflict when the game got going. Guess it's who you grew up rooting for not where you've lived the longest.
