that second half sucked (Bama/Florida)

I understand the concept of letting up on the gas, but that was ridiculous.

Now I have to wonder, is Florida (and Arkansas) that bad, or is Alabama's defense better than advertised, or a bit of both?

Now Bama gets to play six straight teams who have a bye week going into the game.

On edit: Now that I think about it, the defense was incredible the whole game, it was just the offense that stunk it up in the second half.

6. Bama has a salary cap.

The starters only make $250,000 a year tops. Now the high school coaches that send them to Bama, that is a different story. No cap on that sheet!!!

4. Alabama is very very very good

I love my Ohio State Buckeyes but I think if they played "the Tide"
right now they would lose by @ least 20 points.

On both offensive & defense 'bama was running downhill the whole game
after they stopped Florida on the goal line. Hell they didn't punt until
the end of the 1st half.

5. Weird game, for sure, but

if the other team trailing by 18 wants to burn time off the clock in the second half and then hand the ball back to you, I guess you don't need much offense.
Florida will probably get another shot in December, though. I don't see anybody in the SEC East beating them except maybe for South Carolina, whose big win over Georgia doesn't look quite so impressive now.
