The WEST rules!
Both participants in this year's World Series come from the respective league's West division. I don't want to hear any more East Coast Bias garbage about how superior the AL and NL East are, because quite frankly, for this one year at least, the facts just don't back that argument up....

1. I live in the west, and generally root for western teams.
For this year, it's good to see this.

What the future brings, for baseball in the western parts of the country remains to be seen.

3. lol at "West" huh.
Funny how that Texas being "west" works when the DALLAS Cowboys (WHO SUCK BTW) are in the NFC EAST. Don't give me that East Coast BIAS bullshit. I showed you the numbers that showed DURING THE REGULAR SEASON THE NL EAST DOMINATED the NL West. All you can say about the results is that the Giants played better than the Phillies and the Rangers played better than the Yankees. That says nothing about your paranoid fantasies of EC bias.
BTW, its your completely bullshit attitude that makes me DESPISE the Giants when otherwise, I really had no reason to be for or agaisnt them. I'd love to see the Rangers sweep them. (oh that and in my mind Barry Bonds did to baseball what GW Bush did to the country)

4. I'm torn
I despise the Ginats because of Upton, so I'd like to see the Rangers win. But I don't want to see Dubya's smug face if they do win.

5. "THE NL EAST DOMINATED the NL West"
Edited on Mon Oct-25-10 08:51 AM by Upton
Hmm..looking at the stats, the NL East went 86-80 during the regular season versus the NL West. That's far from any domination. In fact, if you include the post season, that edge slips to 89-87. It turns around completely to a 70-64 NL West advantage when removing the now vanquished by an NL West club Phillies 22-10 mark.

And considering the Giants DEFEATED TWO NL EAST CLUBS ON THEIR WAY TO THE WORLD SERIES (using capitals because you seem to be fond of them...eyesight difficulties?), it looks to me like the only one pushing any "bullshit" is you...

EDIT: Am I supposed to give a damn who you root for?
