Giants 41, Cowboys 35

Once again, the pretenders from East Texas, who falsely claim to be

AMERICA'S TEAM

have had the stuffing beaten out of them by

a real American team.

For this, we give Thanks and celebrate.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please join

THE AUTHOR OF THE WORK

in singing

OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM.

2. I think you need a new schtick, Mr. York. A day late and a dollar short.
mim shakes his head once again in disgust.

8. Not here. The sky is gray and foreboding, and the grass is turning brown
as winter approaches. At least it looks like Martin O'Malley and Ken Ulman will be reelected. The House of Reps, though does not looks so good, as does the future of the United States.

4. Talk about defense optional...
For all the moaning about Romo being hurt, I think it actually bodes well for Dallas that they managed to keep it close. Either Kitna is better than expected (and I think he is, he was decent in Cincinnati and Seattle), the New York Giants defense sucks, or a mixture of both.

5. Did you watch that game?
Dallas did nothing at the end that the Giants didn't hand them. They had like 150 yards in offense before the Giants turned the ball over several times. That game was no where NEAR as competitive as the score indicates. That could have easily finished 50-20.

6. wtf Eli Manning?
SI had a players poll on the 10 most overrated players and he was in the list. Easy to see why. With that receiving corp, running attack and offensive line he should be doing better than this. 4 TD and 3 INT, he giveth and taketh away. I almost said Cutler would excel with the Giants offensive tools but nah, he'd still be a turnover machine.

10. It's called North Texas, you foreigner.

This map shows the traditional areas of Texas fairly well:

Some Texans still think that according to the 1845 annexation treaty they could divide Texas into 5 states and dominate the Senate.

12. Only one 1-5 team has gone on to make the playoffs in NFL history
the 1970 Bengals. 147 other 1-5 teams have headed to the golf course at New Year's. So much for that home Super Bowl. :P

Even with me at QB.
