Allen Iverson to police: 'Do you know who I am?'
http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/04/07/georgia.iverson.police/index.html?hpt=P1&iref=NS1

Atlanta, Georgia (CNN) -- Former NBA star Allen Iverson launched an expletive-ridden tirade against police when a car belonging to him was pulled over for a traffic violation last week, at one point telling the officer, "Take the vehicle, I have 10 more," according to a police report.

Iverson, 35, was a passenger in a grey Lamborghini, spied by an Atlanta officer changing lanes without signaling about 6 p.m. on March 30, according to the police report obtained by CNN.

The driver, identified in the report as Antwuan Clisby, couldn't produce any documentation for the vehicle, the report said. He then told the officer his passenger needed to leave the vehicle to eat dinner, and the officer said no one was leaving until the investigation was complete.

With that, Iverson became "irate," according to the police report, saying, "I'm the (expletive) passenger." The officer radioed for backup, and a second unit arrived, according to the report. Clisby and Iverson were asked to exit the vehicle, while Iverson continued to curse at the officer, the report said.

3. The fucking cops here don't signal, they are too busy
playing with their gizmos. Nobody here uses them, it's like they are an unwanted option. I figure if you see someone use them at night they are drunk.

DWB and that sucks. Iverson will probably fuck up on his own without the police helping. (sarcasm)

4. Same thing happened to me but such a different ending...
I was 21 at the time. I was pulled over for expired tags. I spent 10 minutes explaining to the cops the situation. I admitted my guilt and told him I didn't know the tags were expired. I explained the expiration notice and new tags were mailed to my dad, out of state, and he had to forward them to me. The cop seeing my situation and hearing me admit I was indeed wrong, wrote me a ticket and sent me on my way. He said "don't drive the car again till you get the tags on the car." No big deal. Soon as I had the tags in my possession I went to the proper government agency and proved my car was registered and the fine was dropped.

Why is it so hard for Mr. Iverson to have done the same thing?
