Jerome Bettis was the reason for Parker's TD run.
Did he throw a block? Not that I recall. Did he do something else that sprung him? Not on the field.

ABC showed a clip of Bettis talking to Parker after some of Parker's 1st half sweeps, where Parker kept trying to outrun the defense to the corner - never making it. Bettis advised Parker to cut it back inside, because Seattle had the angles and would get him every time.

So what did Parker do on that 75 yd run? He didn't try to make it to the corner 1st, he used his blocks and cut inside instead of going around the end - scoring the longest run from scrimmage in Super Bowl history.

THAT is true leadership.
