Spartan players protect field from flag planting

1. Not Classless

I contend it is not classless to plant your flag on another teams field. I think if Notre Dame had done that to anyone they fans of ND would be taking about how great of a thing was done. Nobody really if the Spartans players standing on the field did not stop the ND players from planting their flag.

I would say it is stupid and meaningless, but I guess sometimes when a team is made out to be so much better than you team you might just want to plant your flag in a mode of defiance.

2. LOL, does anyone lack class as much as MSU?

Notre Dame got MSU into the Big Ten by putting them on their schedule so they'd have a big time opponent and no one in East Lansing seems to remember that fact. MSU USED to be likeable, back when they had the likes of Duffy Daugherty, Amo Bessone, Biggie Munn, Danny Litwhiler, and Gus Ganakas. In the 70s, that all changed. They somehow morphed into being big time assholes. I can see why they'd hate Michigan (though the Spartan Bob incident took the cake) but why do they dislike Notre Dame, the team that single-handedly took Michigan State to the big time?
