...2. I can't believe people are ripping on A-Rod when baseball is full of steroids abusers. Just think what kind of series he would have had if he used illegal performance-enhancing drugs. We're talking .150 or .200, and maybe even an RBI or two....

the $67 million still owed to him is going to sooth a lot of problems. You ask for the biggest contract, on the biggest stage? you better produce or be ready for criticism. (by the way, also on Page 2 the same day was a completely serious article explaining why the Yankees should keep A-Rod and trade Jeter, so it works both ways.)
