why is Ohio State ranked ahead of Wisconsin?
when they lost to Wisconsin, have only beaten one ranked team, and have more losses overall than the Badgers?

we beat em once and dammit we'll beat em again...wisconsin always gets robbed in the rankings (like in the BCS this last season...)

1. Why did Wisconsin rush for minus 5 yards in their bowl game?
Why did Wisconsin get a net gain of 60 yards when they went offsides in their bowl game? Arkansas blocked a punt and yet Wisconsin got the opportunity to repunt after the Badgers were "penalized." All that robbing of Badgers is downright atrocious.

3. Ya mean
Wisconsin got breaks like that for the whole season. No wonder they had such a great record. Either that or they played most of their games in the Big Ten.

Did ya see in one draft report the SEC had seven of the top ten recruiting classes this year. Must be the weather huh?

4. Yeah, the big ten is a bunch of losers
Michigan, Ohio St.

You seriously need to let go of the hostilities to the big ten. Sometimes it's not all about the SEC, man. You just need to realize that.

5. To me, its the law of physics
Action. Reaction. As I perused DU Sports I discovered that the Big Ten was the most dominant football conference in the whole dadgum universe and that the only reason the SEC had any modicum of success was because of the weather. Thought I'd chime in. Guess you don't like my tone.

In other words, any "hostility" you hear from this SEC fan is a direct result of bragging from the land of the frozen tundra.

So you've gone from the Big Ten, Master of the Universe to Big Ten, A Bunch of Losers. Maybe you all need a PR firm.

10. Why is OSU rated ahead of Wisconsin?
Graft? Corruption? The need to generate interest before the big tourney? What's a henway? Relevence? So one team is rated ahead of another in a subjective poll with input from several sources. I don't understand the basis of your question. Fortunately the final poll will be based on what happens on the court.

16. Since UF hammerated OSU in both sports, it puzzles me, too.
Those two balls would look good on a Gator shirt.

9. there's good reason for that, you know
given that the Big Ten is solidly in the middle of blue state land, and the SEC is solidly in the middle of red-stateville. what did you expect to find on a liberal board? of course we have a bias towards the North East (no college football to speak of) the West coast (USC partisans, anyone?) and the upper mid-west. I am sure that on freeperville, you will find a bias towards the SEC and Big XII and against the Big Ten and Pac-Ten cause that's where they are mostly from.

mostly, you note.

11. Ohio State is ranked #2 in order to show how far Florida is ahead of everybody else. Afterall.......
Edited on Mon Feb-12-07 07:56 PM by Jack from Charlotte
if OSU is #2 to Florida, that really says something since Florida beat OSU by 26 points back in late December.

#1 is 26 points better than #2.

13. But its just so unfair
that the buckeyes are on top of the badgers. Don't you feel the badger pain? Aren't we all awash of the pain of basketball rankings in early February?
