Congratulations to the Big Ten and their fans for a great 2007 season
Ya'll have taken a pounding of late from obnoxious pricks like me who sometimes forget its only a game. To my fellow obnoxious pricks, which certainly include Big Ten fans, consider it a term of endearment. Wolverine and Buckeye and Badger fans etc love their teams as much as I love mine, the Almighty Razorbacks. Who, if you did not know, got their asses kicked all over the Cotton Bowl on New Years Day but I still love them. Still the best uniforms, fans, stadium, mascot (who doesn't love a Hog?) cheerleaders, alumni association. But I digress. I think it would be appropriate for the Mizzou running back who broke the Bowl rushing record to send a thankyou card to the Hog Defense.

I promise I won't be obnoxious until the next time I am. I predict it will come sometime in mid summer when the preseason 2008 rankings are released and we will all have an opinion on how inaccurate it is.

No such thing as a stranger, just a friend on DU I haven't met yet.

1. That is mighty nice of you Bosshog
Big 10 teams coming up flat all over the gridiron, but it was an up-and-down year across the NCAA spectrum. Its like nobody wanted to be highly ranked or could stay that way. The Big10 is definately trending down. My Badgers for sure. No effing defense a'tall! The trick to winning against the Big 10 is speed
Illinois: flash in the pan
Michigan: overego'd on their own hype
OSU: Ok we get it, you can't finish the deal.we want something else.
Penn State: Paterno aging.

As long as the Heisman curse hits the Gators, I am happy

2. Your behavior in here was obnoxious?
Get real, BOSSHOG. You've got nothing on Pats fans. ;-)

To be fair, the SEC has significant recruiting advantages. The Big Ten starts off in a big hole. That they're able to compete and win some games here and there (Hooray for Michigan) is pretty impressive, when you think about it.

3. What are the significant recruiting advantages?
The Big Ten has a larger recruiting pool based on population.

4. Recruting advantages.... people like to live in warm weather, near beaches....,
and palm trees. College boys like to look at college girls with fewer clothes on as is worn in warmer weather.
