1. Domestic violence IS a problem
in the NFL. I'm not willing to give someone of Moss's track record the benefit of the doubt quite yet. I know, innocent until proven guilty, but this is ALWAYS the excuse I hear..It was an accident, she's a liar after my money, it was consensual and was trying to blackmail me..etc. As a woman I am always wanting to hear both sides of the story. Randy Moss is not a credible person to me.

2. I am more interested in the timing of the story. Seems calculated, to say the least.
As people, we want ha emet (the truth). I am all for letting the chips fall where they may. :hi:

6. but he also has no personal history
of domestic violence that we know of. He's always just been a jerk to people, not a violent one. (yes, I understand about bumping the meter maid in Minneapolis) so this actually suprises me. now if you told me he got caught with a pound of weed and a handgun in his car, I wouldn't be shocked at all.

truth will out.

3. The Boston Globe's report
says he went straight to the coach and filled him in. Not absurd circumstances for either party to be guilty as accused, and no reason to believe one or the other at this time, but at least Moss did the proper thing by letting his coach know about the situation right away.

This'll out...and be grist for the mill no matter what.

Moss caught one ball for 14 yards last week, and we won by 11. He's just as good playing the decoy if he's distracted this Sunday by the situation. Not that this is important in contect with an alleged attack on a woman, but there is still a game to play, so waiting is the only option until this is sorted out.

4. Agreed
this is totally separate from the unethical conduct of the coach which Patriot fans apparently don't give a fuck about. Just win Baby!

5. I was not a fan of Moss since his college days.
I had figured he would be trouble in New England when they traded for him.

My opinion of him changed during the season. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and wait for the outcome. I wouldn't doubt that it is possible that his side of the story could be true.

7. I've beaten my wife for four years.........
my college has, I should say. Gators have beaten FSU Semis 4 straight in football and unless those clowns learn football soon, it'll be 5 or more in a row.
