The Patriots will go down in history as one of the 3 or 4 best teams
of the 2007 season. Nothing more. Oh I forgot about their asterisk.

2. I can honestly say
if billichick were the Eagles coach and his video episodes happened when he was the Eagles coach, I would not be an Eagle fan and urge the league to do whatever they thought reasonable to ensure it does not happen again. Some things are more important than winning. I am very proud of my Eagle and Saint Fandom and will continue to do so until they fuck up. I find it hard to believe that Patriot fans share such sentiment.

3. I don't know----
If I were an Iggles fan and my fellow fans cheered the way they did when Mike Irvin went down, I'd have to reconsider my loyalty to my team.

Bad fans, bad coaches... what's the difference?

4. I like the team
Eagles "fans" are a scary lot, but I don't think they work in an underhanded fashion to win games. I was born in Philly. My Grandpa used to take me to Eagles games at Old Franklin Field. However, I behave myself when I'm at a game, which isn't very often nowadays.

9. Great story on Real Sports about rowdy NFL fans
that I saw the other day, mostly regarding the excessive alcohol consumption. It has put me off going any more for a long time now, and I could walk to Reliant Stadium and watch the Texans if I so chose.

I do not choose, and it's not for the quality of play on the field.

Oh yeah, Belichump is a bleeding rectum, and there isn't a fine big enough for filming the Rams walk-through prior to the Super Bowl a couple of years ago.

He needs to be suspended for one season. No contact with the team whatsoever, and a lifetime ban if he violates that. If Kraft wants to pay him to take a yearlong league-mandated vacation, that's his business.

That's the only action capable of getting everybody's attention. Since Goodell destroyed the evidence, though (CIA torture tapes, anyone?) I'm guessing he doesn't have the stones to do anything.

10. Back in 87
I was stationed in Philly and my brother in law (an obnoxious Cowboy fan) came to visit. We went to a Eagle-Cowboy game and he was all dressed up in his Cowboy regalia. I begged him to wear a coat that I would provide. He insisted otherwise. Its about the tensest four hours I've ever spent (and I've served in a combat zone.) I had to do some serious ass kissing to keep him from getting his ass kicked. Not a very pleasant atmosphere.

I suggested earlier this year that the team be prevented from appearing in post season play because of this years actions. That certainly would get the attention of the team and the fans and maybe they too would see their coach as most of the rest of the nation does.

11. Obnoxious Cowboys fans?
:wtf: are you talking about?

BTW, back in '83 I went to the Michigan-Ohio State game in Ann Arbor, MI. I was from Ohio, and had Ohio plates on my car. I was worried that the car would not make it out alive!

12. My only such experience
We went to the Arkansas State-Delaware playoff game in Delaware way back in the 80's and I had my Arkansas car tag stolen. At least I got to see Jeff Gannon, don't even recall who won the game.

I do like my BIL but he is an obnoxious Cowboy fan. No doubt he is the only one.

Jeff Gannon of the Gannon/Guckert fame? :wow:

Some people on this board consider me an obnoxious Cowboys fan!! Something about the endless Tony Romo posts, though I think it is actually just disgruntled RedSkin fans!!1!!

14. Oh as a lifelong Philly Fan
I know that all Cowboy and Redskin fans are just wonderful, loveable, goot spirited, good sport people :sarcasm: just like us loveable Iggle fans.

I dropped a pretty nice amount of money in Delaware back in the 80's hitting those freaking tolls.

8. If I were a Dolphin fan and they all cheered for a team to lose
rather than to win... oh forget it. What the eagles fans did is far worse.

7. Funny thing is that nobody recalls that those teams were 18-1
The only thing they remember is that they won the big game.

15. NE is the second best team of the 2007 season
The Giants are the best. :bounce: Won all their big games (Dallas, GB, NE) when it counted the most and all away from home.
