CELTICS @ HORNETS SATURDAY NIGHT (22 MAR)
A preview of the NBA finals? The games a sellout (somewhat of a rarity for the Hornets.) They beat the Rockets last night before a sellout crowd.

1. Maybe. Can the Hornets beat the Lakers. We all know how the
NBA has been fixing it so that the Lakers can get to the finals for years.

2. That would explain why the Lakers have been in so many Finals in recent years
while small-market West teams like San Antonio keep getting aced out. :sarcasm:

3. Hay Kamaaina
How'd ya like the NOLA Levee website? I've chatted with them via email bouncing some smartass sarcastic ideas off of them. they've been very receptive. The Hornets have taken over the city. They are quite popular now. John Brady got hired by Arkansas State. Moving from Baton Rouge to Jonesboro. Big Bummer.

4. Not shabby at all, though I did notice
C. B. Forgotston writes for it. Since he can be counted on to take the white, affluent, repuke-ish Lakeview side on most everything, I've dubbed him "Should B. Forgotten". Otherwise it stands squarely in the proud New Orleans satirical tradition ("We Don't Hold Anything Back", indeed!) I have seen other similar sites; one was called the "Creole Tomato".

Oh yes, I must confess that "Golden Meadow Barbie" gave me a pang of longing for my very own "Belle Chasse Barbie" (who wasn't shaped like Barbie at all).

And so as to stay even slightly on-topic,

GEAUX HORNETS!

5. I've enjoyed
forgotston's columns in that paper because he has thrashed Jindal soundly. I was reading the Barbie stories outloud on the balcony of the Tropical Isle last saturday afternoon. I drew quite a crowd.

Yes Geaux Hornets. And their new cheerleaders - The Whorenets.

7. Pistons could surprise the Celtics
They have experience and a very, very tough defense.
