2. I knew they could do it!
Of course it's only one game, but I'm glad they could send a message to everyone who said/thought this would be easy for the Pistons. Flip Saunders said it best: "It wasn't that we lost the game, they beat us." :woohoo:

5. Pistons Lost
I do not mean to down the Sixers, but the Pistons lost that game. In addition, Flip Saunders should be fired. I think he did a poor job last night of managing his players. He put in the bench and when the game started to get away from the team he still left in the bench. I think even the announcers began to wonder about Saunders leaving in the bench.

7. Sixers came up big when they needed to.
They grabbed rebounds, made shots, and even hit a few free throws. They beat the Pistons.

3. Grrrrrrr.......
The Pistons really looked rusty. They had that big lead and just coasted, and there was NO EXCUSE for missing all those free throws. Slop (not trying to denigrate from the Sixers, who seemed sharp and focussed - just love my 'Stons and want them to get to form).

In the third period, I started doing a personal little Marv Albert "Yess!" poll. It's always seemed to me that he's never (or rarely) said this when a Piston scores, just their opponents - this is probably not limited to the Pistons, but that's who I watch. Anyway, starting from mid-third period, the count was 5 "Yesses!" for the Sixers, and zero for the Pistons. Even allowing for the fact that the Sixers were coming back, this seemed lopsided. The Pistons were behind and tied it up once or twice near the end, and didn't get a single "Yess!" from Marv.

6. Of all the east teams they might've played
I really didn't want it to be the Sixers. That is an energetic, 48-minute team and I see my fears being realised! As a Pistons fan I can only hope experience will outlast exuberance.

8. Big surprise
I still don't see them winning more than 1 game.

9. They won two now, can you see them going up three?
If they take that third this could an early curtain call for for those Pistons.

10. Thankfully, didn't happen!
Game four was one of the strangest basketball games I have ever seen, punctuated by the fact that one of the announcers was actually accusing players (on both teams) of flopping. About time someone said so!
