2. It's a shame they lost to Cleveland -- be undefeated, otherwise.

3. They're my favorite team!
:bounce: And I think they're playing really well right now. They may be the best team in football. I am hoping for another Super Bowl victory but there is a long way to go.

4. Too bad Michael Strahan can't leave the team again
However as an Eagle Fan I'm looking forward to the 30th anniversary of Piscarcik's thing ya know. 30 years this Wednesday.

Go Giants, my number two NFC East Team.

13. Ironically, Pisarcik would be traded to the Eagles soon afterward
One NY sports wag quipped, "Pisarcik has already proven he can win for the Eagles. Unfortunately, he was with the Giants at the time."

And the Eagle who ran the fumble in? That'd be Herman Edwards, later the Jets and Chiefs coach.

7. They look good.
However, so did the Pats last year..and so did Dallas until the playoffs.
As obvious as a Giants-Titans matchup looks, this year has also had its share of surprise upsets too.

16. Titans vs Giants
That would be a good game if it happens. As a Titans fan it has been an exciting year to say the least. If the Giants are the best team in the league then I would have to say that the Titans are the second best team and is probably the best coached. (Oh I will be flamed for that one). So lets see what is going to happen and ride it until the end.

8. Why the fuck are they called the "New York Football Giants?"
Other than being a Chris Bermanism, there is no other New York Giants Team.

Dammit, the New York Baseball Giants have been gone for 51 years. Get over it!

11. They look easily like the best team in football to me
Jacobs behind that offensive line is devastating, Eli looks great too...right now they have to be the favorite to repeat.

12. Very, very good chance at repeating....
...best in the NFC, and having home field advantage in the playoffs will help. They are very well coached right now, and can repeat, however, the Celevland game showed that when they falter, they can falter big time.

18. As their coach would say: Talk Is Cheap - Play The Game
This season, I believe it's now: Talk Is Cheap - Never Satisfied

As a long-time Giants fan (since 1967 !!), I am cautiously excited. There is still a lot of regular football season left, and the playoffs are a whole different thing altogether.

As for the Tennessee Titans, I'd think they'd be secretly relieved if they were to lose a game or two in the regular season - it would take the pressure off. That "perfect season" schtik can really eat into nerves - just ask the NE Pats and their fans from last season.

:bounce:

20. I think they're going to win it all again.
They have the best O-Line in the NFL, a three-headed monster of a rushing attack, and a lethal defense. I can't see anyone going to the Meadowlands in January and winning, and I don't see any AFC team that can match up to them (Not even Tennessee).

21. I hate them, I've always hated them.
And I always will hate them. They are a good team though, which makes me hate them more.

Even more than I hate them I hate the stupid term New York "Football" Giants.

22. budding dynasty
And may go down as one of the best teams of all time.

how often can you say the following about a team

1. Best offensive line in football AND
2. Best defensive line in football.

That's where the games are won and they are blessed with skill players on both sides of the ball everywhere else.

Tennessee is a gritty team with a lot of heart and probably will go 14-2, maybe even 15-1. They may even get to the SuperBowl. But the Giants have the total package.
