Mediocre coaches should be fired more often in the NFL.
Always seemed odd to me that they'd be given chance after chance with little to show for it.

Just one more example of how football is better than throwball IMO.

1. The EPL is getting a little nutty with the manager firings, too.
Martin Jol got absolutely screwed at Tottenham last year, and already Manchester City is rumbling about giving Mark Hughes the boot. Never mind the fact that they're talking openly about replacing half the squad, it must be the manager's fault.

2. Yeah, they're getting more like Serie A and La Liga.

Which I don't think is a good thing... but having these middling throwball coaches around so long is also not good IMO. Somewhere in between would most likely be best for most situations.
