Galloway signing confirmed (Patriots).
The agent for wide receiver Joey Galloway has confirmed that the Patriots have reached a one-year deal with Galloway.

Galloway's agent, Shawn Trell, confirmed the news, which was first reported by Tampa radio station WDAE.

Via email, Trell said that Galloway's decision to join the Patriots was "simple" because it was a "compelling opportunity to play for a premier owner, organization, team and coach."

The 37-year-old Galloway, who was released by Tampa on Feb. 25, visited with the Patriots on March 4 and also had visits with the Buffalo Bills and the Pittsburgh Steelers, who according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette hosted Galloway on Monday.

Huh, wonder why he didn't want to go to Buffalo and play with T.O.?

2. Can't hurt. Another deep threat across from Moss will also open up Welker even more.

3. A 37 year old WR who is going to be playing for a cold weather team for the first time in his career
I have my doubts he is going to do well. Well first time, if you don't count his Ohio State days (back in the early 90s).

4. True, but Seattle is hardly a nice climate that often too, especially on the joints.
He's certainly no long term answer, but a productive year or two would be more than acceptable.
