Here's an interesting stat I came across.. from week 1 of 1981 until week 7 of 1999, the 49ers went 285 straight games without a 3 game losing streak. During that time, the Niners went 210-74-1... a winning percentage of .739.

The Cowgirls can only dream of numbers like that.

I like seeing Duke go down, but why did a #1 seed have to play on #9 seed MSU's home court? In fact, last night, Stanford a #2 was forced to play on the home court of a #10 seed (SDSU). Something about that doesn't seem right...you should be rewarded for being a higher seed, not punished.
