Stanford women advance to the Final Four
by beating Iowa State 74-53 they're in their second straight and eighth final four in their history. This is the same team that the east coast biased selection committee saw fit to deny a #1 seed, despite a ranking of #2 in the nation. Unfortunately, barring an upset by ASU tomorrow, UConn will be next.

1. You are a Stamford Alum?
Otherwise why are you not rooting for Pat Summitt's team?

2. What are you talking about?

I grew up about 10 miles from the Stanford campus. So, under the REAL sports fan rules, I am eligible to be a Stanford fan.

On Edit: it's "Stanford" not "Stamford"

4. Sorry, I lived about 10 miles from Stamford, CT. There was no school
there.

3. Uh, Upton didn't attend Tennessee .. but like he said, he grew
up 10 miles from Palo Alto, as opposed to the 2,000 miles from Dallas you're from.

Although, I'm not sure anyone really knows where you're from since you're "teams" are all over the country.

7. I don't know if he did, however it's perfectly acceptable
to root for college teams from where you're from.

6. Congrats to them
There's a local woman on the team so I'd like to see them do well. I don't think they'll get by UConn, though.

And thanks for posting something about the Women's NCAA. There aren't many interested in it, I guess.
