How long before Red Sox fans start booing Jason Bay? I say June.

He looks at a lot of third strikes. He also doesn't kill himself in the field chasing after fly balls. You'll find out.

1. Got to give him until July.
That 2 run homer to tie the game Friday with 2 outs will buy him at least an extra month. We're assholes...but not THAT bad. ;)

Bay is hitting .316 with 4 HRS 16 RBIs OBP .494 and a slugging percentage of .649. He's an excellent all around player, the Red Sox were extremely lucky to get someone of his quality in the Ramirez deal. You're just pissed (or you should be) because the Pirates gave him away, like they do with all their players as soon as they start to get good. What a pathetic team....they don't even belong in MLB.

7. Yep. Should last a couple more weeks.
Unless the pitching is for real. Then, who knows.

10. The difference is Bay wants to play, Bay always tries...
I'll take that determination and dedication over that bloated air-head any day.

over 30 HRs and 100 RBIs 3 times in the last 5 years....what do you want? I'll take that in left field for the Giants, as would any team.

Jason Bay: Games Played 2004-120 2005-162 2006-159 2007-145 2008-155 Those are not the figures of someone who is "injury prone" Perhaps it would be to your advantage if you got your facts straight.

15. If you're just going to ignore the facts
and spout nonsense....you've got a problem. Of course, that appears to be par for the course when it comes to those that reside in the minor league city known as Pittsburgh. Bay has missed a total of 27 games the last 4 years..an average of just under 7 a season. He's obviously not "injury prone" and you're just making yourself look stupid by refusing to let it go.

16. I'll admit that he hasn't been that injured the past three years
but he missed a large stretch in 2003 and 2004. He doen't get hurt anymore because he doesn't dive for fly balls.

It's awesome to watch people make idiots of themselves for my amusement though, so let him go on. ;) How you feeling about the Sharky Sharks tonight? Be hard to top that last game for excitement. If the Sharks win this they'll take the series I think.

Let us know when the Pirates do anything worth paying attention to. Oh wait, they're awesome because they'd be in a wild card spot after 18 games. You're turning into a gift that keeps on giving. :applause: I'm sending this shit to some friends...
