What's the weirdest thing about the baseball season so far?
For me, it's gotta be that Texas is still leading the AL West. :wtf:

2. Yeah, apparently...don't know who they play but every year they
send the Angels to the post-season so they can lose to the Red Sox!!!!!

4. Is this Damon's last year of his contract?
Seems like he's trying to produce, but at his age injuries are just around the corner, so we'll see how much of this season he actually plays.

5. He's slugging .615 this year.
His career slugging is .438 .

Odd.

16. As TZ said, lovable losers they are not.
There's really no difference between the Red Sox and the Yankees from my view in California.

17. Better a hated winner than a lovable loser any day.
And I'm betting there isn't a sports fan here that wouldn't feel the same way. The lovable loser tag is just something to make those fans of sucky teams feel united in their misery each year (hello Cubs fans!). Winning team's fans are united in joy. Which one would you pick? We've had times of both, and I know which one I prefer.

22. Believe me, I've lived through enough misery to feel sorry
for any fans -- including those of the Cubs.

I did for Red Sox fans against the Yankees that one year.

But I'm completely over that, especially since this is Topic Forums: Boston Sports.

24. What the fuck are you talking about?? Misery?
Edited on Thu May-14-09 06:36 PM by madinmaryland
That is about the most assinine thing that has come out of your pie-hole recently.

Considering your crowing about the Forty-whiners and the B-roid home run history that you continually chatter about, what you just said makes absolutely no fucking sense.

BTW, Why the fuck are you rooting for AL teams. Once again, you contradict the rules of a REAL SPORTS FAN!

DOUCHE!
