In conversations with friends I often will state "Some state or states will pass legislation banning the transportation of women accross state lines to have an abortion". Well an Ohio legislator has introduced legislation which, beyond banning all abortions excepting those to save the life of the mother, would make it a felony to transport a woman accross state lines for the purpose of her obtaining an abortion. Can the womb police be far behind? Also note, there is no exception for rape or incest. Apparently women are chattle in Ohio. Remember - it's not about pro-life - it's about forced birth!
In Ohio, Brinkman, a three-term legislator and father of six, acknowledges that he may be rushing things with the bill he has submitted to ban all abortions in the state except those necessary to save the life of the woman....Brinkman's bill would go much further. It would make performing an abortion or transporting a woman across state lines to have an abortion a felony.
