What should I tell Senator McCaskill?
I'll be meeting with her Thursday.

McCaskill hits the road to talk education

From the AP:

Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill is launching a 15-town tour around Missouri this week to meet with parents, teachers, students and school administrators about potential changes to the federal education law.

McCaskill is kicking off her events Monday in eastern Missouri. She said the “roundtable discussions” are a way to gather opinions before an expected debate on reauthorizing the federal No Child Left Behind Act.

1. I rate her re-election chances in Missouri at 20%
so whatever you tell her try to be gentle. She is in huge trouble in a once purple state that is going the way of Arkansas.

Privatization is now referred to as the new apartheid; separating the rich and poor. It denies educational opportunity to those with more difficult conditions or circumstances. And it can lead to religious extremism and dissension.
