Last Night's "Drag Race"
I was sorry to see Ongina go... Really, I like all of the remaining contenders except for Glasscock- what a bitch!

1. also, i think bebe was horrific when she did her "lip sync for your life"
and chanel totally won this round. her girl looked most dramatically femmed

2. By the most strict definition of the challenge....
yeah- I think Shannel should have won. Ongina and Bebe kind of went in another direction.

4. Yeah the lip syncing was..... disturbing....
And I thought Ongina and Bebe did great makeovers of their girls, but I didn't really see either of them as their "drag daughter."

5. Rebecca did what she was asked. I thought she was being fair pairing Mia
with Nina-- they looked like they could have been related.

Ongina, however nice a person, was never really a strong drag queen for me. She really didn't work well with creativity for her "ward"

Chanelle needs to check herself. There are only so many spots for the Charles Busch, Las Vegas show girls in the midst.

Nina could take this, or Bebe--

My beef: What is this focus on Beyonce, Whitney, etc.

There are a hell of a lot of songs out there to be done. Ru's showing her bias bigtime. Branch out girl.

6. I hear ya on the Beyonce and Whitney....
The few times I've done drag, I've sought out some different material to keep things interesting.

Most recently, I used a cover of Billy Idol's "Dancing with Myself" that was done by The Donnas...

7. i think chanelle has evolved though. she started of really arrogant
and seems to have reconsidered her position. i like people who grow and chanelle even in this short time has.

i love nina flowers. bebe is boring. she is more boring than jade.

8. Bebe does seem to be missing some of the star quality....
Out of who's left, I'd have to pick Nina.

10. True-- It could be the producers creating a cat fight out of nothing....
In the end, the choice of material is what keeps me drawn in.

A constant barrage of Beyonce, Whitney, or *gasp* Celine will bore me to tears. (Add Britney to that little mix)

I've enjoyed the work of those who bring in great singers (Lara Fabian, Linda Eder) or take a song an tweak it--add something to it.

Channelle understands that to a degree-- One needs to live the song--to be it. It isn't enough to choose the current #1 and be fierce.

I've got a friend, who when they put on shows, always goes the comic route-- and it works. He's pigeonholed himself, but he's always got SRO...

13. I'm sorry but Glasscock and her partner looked like sisters on the stroll
not drag performers. I'm a tad pissed to see Ongina go because Bebe threw a grand mal seizure on stage, ripping your wig off and rolling around the stage is not an act of drag it's an act of desperation.

I do have to commend Shannel for pulling off what I thought would be impossible especially when Sweet Pea reeled back at the prospect of having makeup on her face.

15. Shallow doesn't bother me as much as her lack of stage presence
Glasscock is a dime a dozen drag queen and the fact she has made it this far makes me want to question if RuPaul really wants to find the next new drag star more than she wants to find the next drag queen that won't rain on her parade.
