Impromptu protest.....

This is what people driving along I-10 through Baton Rouge got to see this morning:



I'm not really sure what prompted this protest- there's nothing happening locally to spur it on that I can think of. Just a case of someone randomly deciding to get all uptight about the goings-on in someone else's bedroom.

9. UPDATE....

Just found out that they're part of a small (about 30 members), vocal fundie church in Mississippi. They routinely go to free speech alley on LSU's campus to call all of the female students sluts, the male students, drunkards, etc.... :eyes:

So no real reason for them to be there- they just didn't have anything better to do.... What a life, huh?

The leader of this group is a Jimmy Swaggart wanna-be who has been involved in two attempted faith-healings where the victims have died. He's been involved in other botched faith-healings and recently convinced his pregnant wife to trust God and forego prenatal care and timely medical intervention resulting in the birth of a severely brain-damaged baby boy. He runs his organization like a cult requiring the women to stay home, wear long-sleeved clothes and make babies. Like the cults of the 70's and 80's he trawls college campuses looking for the emotionally unstable to prey upon. Fortunately they are really physically unattractive to the point of gluttony and for the most part fail to attract any real talent.
