Last Night's Episode of Drag Race.....

Once again, kind of disappointed in who got sent home- I really liked Shannel. But it makes it easy for me to decide who to pull for in the final 3- Nina Flowers should take it, IMHO.

1. without a fucking doubt. BEBEis BORING. she is too much like a real woman

and not enough a drag queen. i liked shannel too. to me she is drag. big, beautiful, sexy and audacious drag. not this stupid, heteroacceptable, family friendly drag. i loved when she shook her butt in the middle of that song. that IS drag!

i have always rooted for nina but i cannot believe she picked glasscock over shanel

and glasscocks makeup was HIDEOUS. she did the contouring and fucking forgot the color. DAFT

5. Bebe is pretty and carries herself well....

but yeah- I don't much see her as any kind of entertainer, which is really THE x-factor for a drag performer.

I admit she's stiff as a performer. As long as she's swanning around in her own designs, she's wonderful. She can't lip sync and she can't Vogue to save her life.

The illusion she creates is so perfect she could "pass" in some situations. However, she's just not a performer.

Nina Flowers does ghastly makeup, IMO, but her stuff is always over the top and she's a fabulous performer. That's DRAG, IMO, and she is the clear winner.

(I agree about the loser this week, it was unfair. Glasscock did look like an ear of corn)

10. i love nina's make up. glasscock does terrible make up.

in that she contours well but the lack of color is awful

and yes, i do love bebe's clothing and sense of style. in many ways she is a very sophisticated woman just not a drag queen

It truly may be one of those situations where it was so effortless for her to excel in the challenges that it was also easy for the judges to not feel the need to call her out for what she was doing right.

I don't think we've seen the last of Shanel- she may use Drag Race as an effective springboard.

I totally agree, I really liked Shannel and I don't think this is the last we'll see of her. From what I saw, the judges did seem to come down much harder on her, using her show-womanship against her in ways that didn't seem fair to me. I don't blame her for becoming extremely frustrated over the way this is playing out.

I do not understand Ru's continued support of Rebecca, who I think is terrible. She's clearly an amateur, and to me, she's just a boy in a dress. Her last outfit last night was horrible, and I think she should have gotten the boot two weeks ago instead of Jade. If Rebecca wins this I swear I won't watch this show if there's a second season.

So now that my favorite is gone, I'm for Nina Flowers all the way. IMO she's awesome, so cutting edge! I love her. It was always a tossup for me between Shannel and Nina and I really wanted to see them make it to the finals together, because then I think it would have been a real contest.

Bebe comes across like a mannequin to me. She's beautiful, she has great fashion sense, but I feel like she should be standing in a window somewhere most of the time.

It's odd, I was not going to watch this after the first episode, because it made me angry. I didn't want to see drag queens get hosed down while rolling around on a car, or forced to do drag with crappy materials. That didn't seem to me to be the point of a show about drag queens, to be honest, and I felt that first show was more about humiliation than anything else (which is what most reality shows are about, I know, but I wanted this to be different). But good reviews here made me give it a second look, and I'm glad I did.

Along with Ongina, Nina's the one I think really puts her soul into her craft.
An average looking man that can barely speak English, covered in tats and looking like an inmate but when he steps into the role his edge really shows.

His style is fresh and powerful, there's anger in Nina yet the when the makeup comes off he seems like such a sweet man.
Call me an wanker but it takes more than expensive costumes and party tricks to really excel as a performer.

It doesn't help that Shannel came off as such and asshole, but that has no bearing on her performance and I do think the judges were too harsh on her at times.

Shannel needs to find happiness in herself before she can be the next big drag queen. That's what she needs to deal with first.
