"With Democratic majorities in the House and Senate, and a Democrat in the White House, the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community has a real opportunity to make job discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity illegal in all 50 states and bring recognition and better benefits to our families in the workplace.

Two pieces of legislation will help make this happen: The Employment Non-Discrimination Act and The Employee Free Choice Act.

The Employment Non-Discrimination Act will outlaw job discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity."
