Right-wing extremists are resorting to underhanded tactics in an attempt to undermine legislative leadership and take away the freedom to marry! While legislative leadership stood firm this morning, extremists are attempting to overthrow the House chair and push an anti-marriage amendment to the floor!

Illinois is the "Land of Lincoln," Missouri is the "Show Me" state, Minnesota is the "10,000 Lakes" state, Wisconsin is the "Dairy State" and now Iowa is the "Fairy State." Herky the Hawk could be replaced with a pink flamingo. The Iowa football program could be replaced for a big badminton team wearing tight silk flaming hot tight pink shorts.

I would like to clone one Barney Frank for each judge who made same-sex marriage legal in Iowa. All the little Barneys could sit at the dinner table of these judges' family meals teaching their kids how much a trillion dollars is and spitting all over the food at the same time. Then uncle Barney could tuck the kids in at night and look in the closet and under the beds to get the kids to know there are no monsters or Republicans hiding to get you while you sleep.

If your 401(k) needs a boost now, invest in ink companies, the ones they use to print money. It will be profitable until it gets closed down and moved to China.


Anyway, are these judges working for the will of the majority of Iowans? Do these judges really think if gay unions was voted on, the majority of Iowans would be in favor of it? Just remember, the next time you vote, the party that favors this kind of stuff, the last four letters of their party's name is "rats."
