"100 sterling high teens give their silent support"
100 sterling illinois high school students gave their "silent" support to the national "Day of Silence".

this is the first i have heard of this and i was surprised the students at the high school did this. sterling is the arch rival of my high school and is known as total jock school. i have to say these students deserve a great deal of respect for what they did but i know to them it was just something they felt was worth doing. i guess times they really are a changin`...

1. Happy & Proud for these Young Adults!!
This old highschool teacher has a soft spot for young people. This is mature and responsible behavior for which they should be Congratulated.

Jock factories are no fun for a gay boy that is for sure. I didn't have the guts back then that is for sure. The guts of gay kids now blows me away.
