Lesbians Booted from Mall for PDA
The management of Cameron Village shopping center in Raleigh, North Carolina has apologized to a lesbian couple booted from the mall Wednesday for kissing in public.

According to the News & Observer, representatives of York Properties met Saturday with Caitlin Breedlove of Durham and her girlfriend. The company apologized to the women Friday.

“Breedlove said she and her girlfriend, whom she declined to identify, were on a bench Wednesday at the shopping center when a female security officer told them they were being too affectionate,” reports the News & Observer. “Breedlove said she questioned why they were being singled out when heterosexual couples weren't being stopped for engaging in similar behavior.

4. I don't think they should have been singled out BUT
over enthusiastic affection has no place in public places. A kiss on the check, hugs, hand holding, but preparation for the sex act is sickening. I don't know what these people were doing, but no matter what type of couple there were, lesbian, gay or straight I don't think the kind of "sexual" kissing should be allowed.

7. they were merely kissing
and they were directly told that if they had been a man and woman doing the exact, precise, same thing, the guard would have been OK with it.

9. Yet, straight people seem to feel entitled to molest each other everywhere.
They have no qualms about exposing their bodies to strangers and fondling, even masturbating each other, right in public, at least from what I've seen. Yet these exact same people will tell us not to "flaunt it". Fuck them and the horses they rode in on.

10. After reading the article, do you not recognize this as discrimination?
Your added commentary has nothing to do with what transpired, given that it was observed they were expressing their love for each other no differently than the gender discordant couples.

8. If they were in front of Victoria's Secret would they of been booted?
And of the super model...ilk, dressed in VS lingerie?

Then it would of been a promotional family event.
