Homosexual community to plant 'Pride forest' during Tu Bishvat

The "Gay in Galilee" society will plant trees at a plot to be named Pride Forest during the Jewish holiday of Tu Bishvat, the Itim news agency reported Thursday.

During the holiday of Tu Bishvat, the so-called "tree holiday," it is customary to plant trees throughout Israel.

"The forest will be planted in the name of tolerance, equality, human rights and the rights of the community to express its bond with the land," one of the event organizers said.

Pride Forest will be so be situated next to Kibbutz Tuval, just off the road that leads from Carmiel to Ma'alot.
