UK Gays At Risk Of 'Chronic' Disadvantage
http://www.365gay.com/Newscon06/03/032106ukEqual.htm

The government of Prime Minister Tony Blair has been warned that gays, single women with children and black teens are at growing risk of "chronic and persistent" disadvantage.

The Equalities Review presented its interim findings in London on Tuesday. The final report is due out in the fall.

The review was sought by the government.

In presenting the interim report Trevor Phillips, chairman of the review, said that discrimination is forcing many young gays and lesbians to abandon school. The result is lower paying jobs and less productivity.
