After 4+ years on DU, I have reached the coveted 1,000 post level. I have to thank Barack Obama's embrace of homophobes for this honor.

It is great to have a place like this to discuss GLBT issues, and Democratic issues in general. I think we DO make a difference is the thoughts and opinions of open-minded DU'ers.

Keep up the good fight - some day, we will be treated equally in this country.

I'm just approaching 100 myself, a mere mortal standing in the shadow of a god! :)

One of the reasons I joined DU was that I lurked for awhile and read the GLBT threads, and knew I could find great support here!

4+ years and 1000 fabulous! I have enjoyed reading your posts, well enjoy is not quite the right word considering what a lot of it has been about lately but you know what I mean. Keep posting, we all need everyone to keep up the fight.
