Exclusive ticket offer for Cyndi Lauper's True Colors Tour

The Human Rights Campaign and Cyndi Lauper have incredible news and we wanted you to be the first to know.

Once again this summer, HRC has joined forces with Cyndi Lauper for the musical event of the year in support of GLBT equality. The second annual True Colors Tour, featuring Cyndi, The B-52s, Rosie O’Donnell, Carson Kressley, Tegan and Sara, Joan Jett and The Blackhearts, Joan Armatrading, Wanda Sykes, Regina Spektor, Indigo Girls, The Cliks, Deborah Cox, and many others, will visit more than 20 cities across the country, starting May 31 and ending July 5, with HRC receiving $1 from every ticket sold from the True Colors Fund.

Cyndi Lauper has long been a supporter of the GLBT community, and particularly of HRC. Cyndi has said that her motivation for this tour was to raise awareness for GLBT issues this election year and bring gay and straight audiences together to vote for equality.

HRC members and supporters have the opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the general public. The exclusive pre-sale is available Monday, March 10 only for HRC members and supporters!

Be on the look out for another e-mail from HRC on Monday, March 10 with specific information on how to purchase these exclusive member tickets.

Warmly,

Joe Solmonese
President

1. I'd love to see that, I've always been a big fan

also: unfortunately I kept reading your post with "HRC" meaning HIllary Rodham Clinton...so it didn't make sense to me at first, right away

4. I know. I would have liked to have had Margaret Cho involved, also.
But still...this is a fantastic lineup.

I'm definitely going. I went to the show here at the Auditorium Theater last year...I had a blast. :-)

5. the Auditorium Theater
The best venue in Chicago! Box seats for the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, Jethro Tull, Steve Goodman, Dr. John and the Night Trippers, Santana CSNY ah those were the days.

6. The only Bay Area show is Berkeley's Greek Theatre?
That seems strange. You'd think they could expect a lot of support here. Small line-up, too. Hmph.

8. Awesome!
I'm a little bit peeved that Tegan and Sara aren't going to be on the Toronto date... but there's still the Indigo Girls and the Cliks.

Actually, I saw both bands live last June... but they're amazing and I'd totally love to see them again!

10. I Saw Cyndi During One Of Cher's Farewell Tour Concerts (Boston)
Edited on Tue Mar-11-08 05:05 PM by rcsl1998
She was great - She's performing on Rosie's Family Cruise to Mexico - May be sinning a duet with Danny Noriega who Rosie asked to join the cruise (and perform) after being axed from American Fake Idol...

11. Hopefully I'll get mine this Friday.
The Chicago Theater, where the True Colors show will be here 06/10, has them on sale this Friday. I'm going to go to the theater itself and buy them from the theater boxoffice...I should save on any charges buying via Ticketmaster.
