Stonewall Dems looking for GLBT people to work in the next Dem administration
Do you want to work for the next President of the United States?

The Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute is leading a community-wide effort to identify strong candidates to serve the next president of the United States. GLLI's Presidential Appointments Project serves as the talent bank for openly LGBT professionals seeking appointed positions in the next presidential administration. If you've ever considered working for the federal government, now is the time to start thinking about whether you have what it takes to work for the president and help to bring about positive change in our country. GLLI's partners in the project include the Human Rights Campaign, The Task Force, National Black Justice Coalition and the National Stonewall Democrats. For more information and to submit your resume, go to www.glli.org/presidential.

3. Work fof the POTUS?
Why would any self respecting GLBT person want to work for an administration that does not support full equality for us? None of the candidates support marriage equality. Senator Obama has ties to homophobic ministers while Senator Clinton has ties to a Religious group that has a lot of ultra-conservative people in it which concerns me. So I hope that there are no takers until they both commit to providing us a seat at the table for all to see.

4. Either of them are far more pushable on the issue than McCain
Behind the scenes work at a high level can accomplish a lot.
