Call California Governor Schwarzenegger to protect Gay Marriage decision
From a social group (Actively Out) that I'm a member of:

The Governor's office has set up a hot line public opinion vote on the recent Supreme Court decision. Call and vote your support. There are supposedly more votes in OPPOSITION than to support currently.

To vote in support of the California Supreme Court's decision on LGBT marriage, call the Governor's office:

1. call 1-916-445-2841
2. press options 1 (english) 5 (to vote), 1 (LGBT issue), 1 (vote yes)

Fully automated and NOT limited to CALIFORNIA voters.

It couldn't be easier to vote... please take 15 seconds right now to do it! Pass it on!!!

Subject: Call Gov to protect gay marriage decision

Hi, friends! I called this morning and it was amazingly easy. This is the very first time I have ever called the Governor's office -- I feel the issue is that important. I hope you will, too.

The California Supreme court decision on gay marriage is in jeopardy.

The right-wingers are hoping that in November the voters will amend the Constitution, making the court's decision meaningless.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently promised a group of Log Cabin Republicans that he would NOT support a constitutional amendment.

Not surprisingly, his office is receiving large numbers of phone calls from the supporters of "Limits on Marriage" (the constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage in California).

We don't want him to go back on his word.

He must hear from us too.

The calling system is automated and you will not talk to anyone.

With each choice, you donʼt have to listen to everything the recorded voice says; just hit the buttons to interrupt, and the system will move you on to the next step.

To vote in support of the Supreme Court's decision on LGBT marriage:

Call 1-916-445-2841; press 1 ,

5 ,

1
1

After you've done this, send it on to all supporters you know.

It couldn't be easier to vote... it doesn't matter whether you are in or out of state... please take 15 seconds right now to do it!

3. My apologies. It worked perfectly earlier this week and last.
Must be that word has gotten out and the system is overloaded. That would be my guess. I appreciate your trying, though.
