We are making history.
http://election2008.advocate.com/proposition_8/index.html

Seeing all those pictures made me a little teary-eyed, honestly. Sure, it's definitely depressing that we still have to fight for our basic rights. But seeing all these photos was really encouraging. All these people, from different parts of the world, from different backgrounds and experiences, heck - even a lot of straight people - coming together to fight.

I went to the rally in Toronto on Saturday. There were about 100 people there. Which may not seem like a lot - but the weather was absolutely terrible. Cold, rainy, windy, and just gross. But the crowd was energetic and enthusiastic - and this is in Canada!

All of us are making history. Right now. And we're going to get this proposition overturned. And if I ever have grandchildren, I know I'll tell them about this when I'm older - about how a group of people all around the world banded together for stop injustice and fight for our rights.

1. Thank you Canada for supporting us! You are more advanced on these things than we are. My husband
and I were married in Toronto last April and we loved the city. The people were very nice to us and restaurants gave us free wine when they heard we were married. I'd go back anytime!

3. Yes indeed we are.
If the boycotts and protests were not working, then the Christofascists wouldn't be trying so hard to drown us out, further marginalize and silence us. They're afraid, you can see it in their words and actions. And we have them on the run.

Let's keep it that way.
