8. I would agree with iherb--I buy many different products there:
all vitamins and herbs
all of our natural shampoos, soaps, body products
many of our teas, and other natural, non-perishable foods

Great shipping rates and almost every product is 30-70 percent off the retail price in stores.

That would be my recommendation.

3. I highly recommend The Herbalist in Seattle.
They've been around since we were all pronouncing Herb WITH the H.

They're extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I've always been impressed whenever I've been there.

My BFF in CA orders on-line from them all the time, and they provide excellent service.

4. Do you have a book on home remedies?
If so you may be able to get most of what you need in the spice isle at the grocery store. Many herbs from the grocery store can be made into teas.

11. There is a problem just using grocery store spices/herbs
in that they are all irradiated and have therefore lost all their therapeutic power. You need to go organic for this reason if your purpose is for the health benefits of the herb.

Unfortunately, ordering items online doesn't guarantee they are not irradiated for you at the post office. The PO does not tell anyone which packages they irridiate; I don't think they catch them all.

It's for our safety, you see :sarcasm: -- you know, like what they do with ALL almonds now? Nobody has a choice on the almonds anymore. Our choices are getting more limited in everything.
