Anyone done any research on how the US health care system compares to other countries?

I am looking for or trying to put together a short couple of pages of arguments for universal health care. I especially want debunking for the corporatist talking points. All too often when I am speaking with others that might be right leaning, i get talking points. e.g. "the Canadians have to wait in long lines." I would like to present to these well-meaning-but-misled people a concise discussion, with references, to dispel some of the fears. I am assuming someone has already done the research. I'd like what help I can get.

1. We are in the top 50 (I think we are rated 32nd in the world)

But if we don't count poor people (legal or otherwise), we would be the best in the world.
Of course, Rat worm John McCain AND Ghouliani wouldn't be able to get coverage (due to prior conditions) in our free market health care, so we still have some work to do.
