Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) on health insurance...is he joking??
---

I am sick and tired of this nonsense, especially coming from Democrats!

"Sen. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), a member of the Finance Committee, has authored a healthcare reform proposal that would only make government-run public insurance plans available in areas where people have a limited choice of private insurance plans."

1. Unfortunately, he seems to have sold Ed Schultz on this plan..
I hope his callers & viewers let him know the dif. between "health insurance" and "health care". .

2. And That's not all he is saying
For people with high colesterol and high blood pressure, etc., if they don't take medication to lower it then their premiums will be raised

IS this idiot for real? I am not going to become a slave to big Pharma, taking every goddam drug my doctor tells me I should take - so is he in the pocket of big Pharma also?

These people are giving me migranes.

3. I'd agree with Wyden if "only make" were changed to "make only".
But that would be the opposite of what he means.

5. Compliance Required!
You know if you have an employer who provides health insurance you have to have health insurance, and if there are deductions for the coverage it is mandatory. Universal coverage would also be mandatory, and it sounds like not doing What The Doctor Ordered will get you into trouble.

First it will affect people with children -- the children will have to follow the health care plan of the treatment provider, not the plans of the parents.
