Black Salve-- does anyone know the best maker of black salve?
I want to try it to remove spots on my face. I see many sites that sell it but is there one that is best?

1. If that's the stuff I am thinking of, I have seen some hideous pics of people whose
face it had eaten right through.

...and one very scary pic re: use of black salve

7. That is sickening. I'll just have them frozen off like the others. One spot
is close to my mouth and I didn't want to have a scar there.

9. Definitely check ingredients.
The main culprit in those kind of salves is bloodroot. That's what causes those burns. There are other preparations out there that are far less caustic. Best to check with a naturopathic doc if you desire to go the herbal route.

10. I was looking at TCA Peels today
I have sun damaged 44 year skin with spots. You can do them at home but I thought I would have it done professionally to see how it is done properly before messing with on my own.

11. Those photos, even on the pro black salve sites,
are gruesome. I wouldn't treat suspicious skin spots without getting medical advice.

Just fyi for readers, this isn't the same product suggested for relief from boils, "Black Ichmathol", which is safe.
The pharmacist keeps it behind the counter, and you have to ask for it.

12. please go to a real doctor
either your General Practicioner or a Dermatologist. Find out the best thing to do,
don't fool around.

I am not against natural remedies, but you need to see a real doctor on this.

Register and go to the skincare board; post your question. Absolutely TONS of personal experience and good advice here. This is my bible reference. I have improved my skin condition over 80% because of this place,

and maybe these too:
