This is an important thread that we need to read and understand.

1. Several reasons, none of them good.

1 Some don't think it can go anywhere.
2 Some are afraid they'll anger "the voters."
3 Some don't like it.
4 More don't pay enough attention to know what it is, just that it's "controversial."
5 Some like the contributions they get from the health insurance industry.
6 Some fear the contributions from the health insurance industry they think would go to future election opponents.

3. IMO 5 & 6 are the biggest reasons

#2 isn't a valid excuse because the majority of people have said they would switch to a public option. So how can it anger them if it's what they want?

2. Sadly, those individuals are Corpocrats not Democrats

And we need to call them out on their betrayal of the Democratic base.
